About the Role
PROLIM is seeking a skilled Assembler 2 to support one of the nation's leading aerospace and defense companies. In this role, you will perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components while supporting production activities for advanced defense programs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a highly respected organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, frames, drawers, and cables.
Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
Perform initial layouts using diagrams and engineering drawings.
Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws to complete assembly tasks.
Conduct continuity checks during assembly and on completed products.
Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as required.
Support testing of prototype and production assemblies under simulated operating conditions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing work environment.
Required Qualifications
1 3 years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
Previous government or defense contract experience.
Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Damage) control procedures.
Previous experience in an electronics or mechanical manufacturing environment.
