Experienced Barista
Carlino’s Specialty Food Market & Bakery
Carlino’s is looking for an experienced, personable, and energetic Barista to join our team! We’re seeking someone who loves great coffee, enjoys connecting with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced specialty food market and bakery environment.
This role is about more than making coffee. You’ll help create a welcoming experience for our customers by preparing quality beverages, serving customers, and bringing our coffee and beverage program to life with both classic favorites and seasonal specialties.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages to Carlino’s standards.
Create and execute both staple menu offerings and seasonal drink specials.
Provide friendly, attentive customer service and help customers with menu selections.
Take customer orders, process transactions, and maintain an efficient service flow.
Multitask between beverage preparation, customer interaction, stocking, and general station upkeep.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee and service area.
Work collaboratively with the bakery and specialty market teams to create a cohesive customer experience.
Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail during busy service periods.
Previous barista experience is required, including familiarity with espresso beverages and coffee preparation.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine interest in specialty food, coffee, and hospitality.
Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
The ability to stay organized and maintain quality during peak periods.
Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Weekend availability is a plus.
Must be available to work during holiday weeks, excluding major holidays (closed).
