The starting wage for uncertified candidates is $24.41 - $26.25 per hour, with a higher wage possible for currently certified officers. Evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with being on call, are required.
The main duties of this position will be as a Patrol Deputy. A successful candidate will be assigned to work during the evenings. Uncertified applicants would be required to attend the 13 week Police Academy in Pierre, SD within 1 year of being hired.
