Position Overview: Chelsea Academy invites applications for a part-time French teaching position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach courses at the different levels (I-V) and contribute to the vibrant intellectual and spiritual life of the school. Teaching Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A practicing Catholic in good standing with a deep commitment to the mission and identity of Chelsea Academy.
• Bachelor's degree in French (Master's degree preferred) with the ability to integrate the language within a liberal arts framework.
• Commitment to the vision, mission, and Catholic identity of Chelsea Academy.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring students and participating in the broader life of the school.
• A love of teaching and learning rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition.
• Ability to inspire students to think critically, reason logically, and appreciate the unity of truth across disciplines.
• Ability to be flexible in a smaller-school environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work as a team player with teachers and staff.
• Ability to plan strategically and maintain a focus on results.
• Ability to partner and create relationships with parents and community members.
