MACHINE OPERATOR Details:
• Training new employees and back-up operators
• Follow spec sheets
• Prepare machines for production runs by setting them up and adjusting them.
• Monitor machines while they are running to identify any issues or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep machines in good condition.
• Check the output of their machines to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Must follow all safety procedures and wear the required protective gear. They should also be knowledgeable about how to handle machinery and chemicals safely. keep their work area clean and safe.
• Keep activity logs and production paperwork.
• Follow direction of shift leadership and asks questions if uncertain.
• Input required data into systems such as ERP and Safety Chain
• Ability to learn new tasks and grow within a continuing growing environment
MACHINE OPERATOR Qualifications:
Must Haves: • 1+ year of machine operating experience in manufacturing
• 1+ year of production/manufacturing experience
• Experience independently operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting machinery
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Safety-focused with GMP/PPE awareness
Nice to Haves: • Food manufacturing experience, especially confectionary or bakery
• Experience with Cavanna, Enrober, Matrix, or similar equipment, Chocolate/tempering experience
• ERP, Safety Chain, or Panel View system experience
• Experience training back-up operators or new employees
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes
