Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive/ATV Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Bossier City, LA. This role is ideal for a hands-on repair professional with strong diagnostic skills, a solid background in vehicle maintenance, and the ability to service automotive and ATV equipment with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive vehicles, ATVs, and related mechanical systems.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, tune-ups, brake repairs, engine repairs, electrical diagnostics, and general maintenance.
- Use appropriate tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures to complete work accurately and efficiently.
- Document repair findings, completed work, parts used, and service recommendations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following shop safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with team members regarding repair needs, timelines, and service quality.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Diagnose and repair automotive and ATV mechanical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and service work.
- Troubleshoot engine, electrical, brake, suspension, and related vehicle systems.
- Complete repairs safely, accurately, and within expected timelines.

- 6 to 10 years of automotive mechanic, ATV mechanic, or related vehicle repair experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair skills.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, repair standards, and safety practices.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
- ASE certification is ideal.

Preferred Qualifications

- ASE certification or related automotive repair certifications.
- Experience repairing both automobiles and ATVs.
- Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, and engine performance issues.
