Bugsy/Orders Epic Analyst

100% Remote (Schedule is in PST)

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert for technical configuration, integrations, and Epic systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust system changes, utilizing modern technologies and digital tools to solve complex clinical workflow challenges.

Qualifications

• Current Epic certification/proficiency in Orders/Order Transmittal/Order Sets and/or ICON with 3+ years' experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in business systems analysis or related technical role within the healthcare industry
• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience working with Epic in a technical build role
• Strong communication and analytical skills with a proven track record of presenting systems prototypes and functional models to business users.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement, modify, test, and administer complex business systems and applications, specializing in Epic environments.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business and user needs to deliver appropriate technical systems solutions from concept to completion.
• Design screens, workflows, reports, interfaces, and prepare functional and technical specifications for system changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues, handling both user-reported and vendor-reported incidents.
• Help manage service incidents and requests, serving as a key subject matter expert for technical configurations and integrations.
• Lead meetings and direct team problem-solving sessions, collaborating across team boundaries and other capability sub-domains.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors and resolve vendor-related technical challenges.
